Travelling Dutch Style
The Netherlands has come to Route 66!  Authentic wooden shoes, a personalized card from Adriann (Adriann and Bassie), a bottle of Bols and a signed copy of Jeroen van Bergeiijk's book, My Mercedes Is Not For Sale, and a pair of dainty Delft china shoes are on display with other Dutch mementos on our soda fountain in the store.  These items complement the other mementos on display from various foreign countries.  All these items from around the world remind us of the warm experiences we've exchanged with our global visitors.
During this time of year on Route 66 in Seligman, Arizona, we enjoy the peacefulness as we see the snow (yes, snow in Arizona) and feel the cooler temperatures (below freezing). Since Seligman's elevation is 5,250 feet (1600 meters) we experience four seasons unlike the desert areas only 2 hours to the south of Seligman. The town is quiet during this time of year which gives us time to reflect on what a great place this is to live.

Until Next  Time
We look forward to 2009 and your continued presence on our Route 66 journey. Memories last a lifetime. Again Happy New Year and thanks for your support.
